T-rex Crypto Miner Setup

Download the latest Trex miner from the link above. After that, extract the archive and go to the folder with the miner. Select the coin you are interested in for mining and edit the .bat file. If you have not yet chosen what you want to mine, then we recommend that you first go to our mining calculator, where you can specify your video card and get the most profitable coin for the current day. Above you will find ready-made examples of bat files for each coin that you can mine on our pool. You will only have to specify your wallet address and, if desired, the name of the worker (rig).

Trex Miner Basic Commands

-a, --algo selects the mining algorithm;
--coin hard selects the mining algorithm. Helps avoid rebuilding the DAG file from 0 when switching from mining commission to miner developers. Example: eth for EthereumPOW, ETHW+zil for mining EthereumPOW+Zilliqa;
-d, --devices selection of video cards that will be mined (the id of video cards that you did not specify will not be mined) . The count starts from 0. A comma without a space is used as a separator. For example, -d 0,1,2,3. In HiveOS, this parameter is set in the add. configuration;
-i, --intensity GPU intensity level between 8 and 25 (default: auto). Controls the size of the GPU workload. In other words, how many nonces the miner processes at a time;
-u, --user this field specifies your wallet address or pool account address;
--user2 to specify a second address if you are mining in dual mode;
-p, --pass, --pass2 password, use x by default;
-w , --worker, --worker2 worker name (rig). It is set either as a separate parameter or through a dot after the wallet address;
--cpu-priority the level of CPU utilization during mining on a video card. The default is set to 2. If the processor does not pull, you can set 0. The maximum value is 5;
--reconnect-on-fail-shares reconnect the miner to the pool in case of receiving rejected shares from the pool ;
-h, --help print all available commands.

Trex Miner Overclocking

--lock-cclock lock the core overclock value. You can also set different values for video cards by specifying their ID, for example --lock-cclock 1000,1200.0 (1000 for video card with ID0, 1200 for video card with ID1, 0 for video card with ID2);
--mt remember tweak. An analogue of a tablet for Nvidia video cards (only works on Pascal video cards with GDDR5 and GDDR5X memory types). Allows you to get more hashrate on individual algorithms. The range of values is from 0 to 6. You can also set different values for video cards by specifying their ID, for example --mt 1,2,3,0;
--cclock Sets the clock speed of the video card core in MHz. You need to run the miner with administrator rights. Will be set to 0 on exit and during DAG rebuild.
--mclock Sets the graphics card memory frequency in MHz. You need to run the miner with administrator rights. Will be set to 0 when exiting and during DAG rebuilding;
--pl specifying the power limit (video card consumption), for Win - in %, for HiveOS and other Linux systems - in watts.

LHR GPU Unlocking

--lhr-tune [for Ethash, Autolykos2 algorithms that do not work at full strength on LHR cards] the LHR tuning value is specified, which is a percentage of the miner's full speed. If you set 1 - auto mode (LHR setting is set to 74% (or 68% in low power mode) for LHR cards), 30 is the recommended starting value for most LHR cards in LHR unlock dual mining mode, 68 is the recommended starting value for most LHR cards in low power mode (see --lhr-low-power), 74 is the recommended starting value for most LHR cards. You can also set different values for video cards by specifying their ID, for example --lhr-tune 0,0,74.5,0 - this will set the LHR tuning value to 74.5 for the third video card;
--lhr- low-power Reduces power consumption in LHR mode at the expense of a slightly lower hashrate;
--lhr-autotune-mode LHR autotune mode (default: full). Allowed values: off - autotuning is disabled. The LHR setting value is fixed at the time of mining and will not change no matter how often an LHR lock is found. Down - The value of the LHR setting will decrease if the miner detects an LHR lock. Full - same as "down", but additionally the miner will try to increase the LHR value if it is stable at the current LHR tuning level;
--lhr-autotune-step-size Step size auto-tuning LHR (default: 0.5). Specifies how much the LHR tuning value is changed by LHR autotune;
--lhr-autotune-interval LHR autotune interval in minutes (default: 20). The amount of time the GPU must mine without LHR blocking before the miner increases the LHR setting value. Also, if the GPU has enabled LHR lockup, the LHR tuning value will not decrease if the previous LHR lockup was detected more than --lhr-autotune-interval minutes ago.

GPU Temperature Monitor

--temperature-color Set the temperature color of the video card core. Example: 55.65 - means temperature above 55 will be yellow, above 65 - red (default: 67.77);
--temperature-color-mem Same , as the previous command, only controls the temperature of the video card's memory, not the core. The default values are 80 and 100;
--temperature-limit The temperature limit after which mining will be stopped;
--temperature-start Sets the temperature value the core of the video card, upon reaching which mining will be started again.

T-rex Miner Common Errors/Issues

CAN'T FIND NONCE WITH DEVICE CUDA_ERROR_LAUNCH_FAILED - The error says that the miner cannot find the nonce and immediately suggests a solution - to reduce overclocking. Especially novice miners try to squeeze the maximum out of the video card - they overclock too much on the core or memory. In such overclocking, the video card can even start, but then give errors as indicated below. Remember, it's better to send a stable share to the pool than to race for numbers in the miner;
OUT OF MEMORY - One of the most common mistakes. Indicates that either your video card does not have enough memory to mine this coin, or that you need to increase virtual memory (we are talking about the Windows operating system);
Trex connection error - an error connecting to the pool. Double-check the miner settings for the correctness of entering the address of the pool or the address of the wallet you are mining for;
NOT FOUND - The batch file cannot find the miner program (in exe format). Either the antivirus removed it (add the miner to the exception), or the batch file is located in another folder.

Trex API

Trex miner developers also provide an API for the miner. It can be found here.

Trex Not Starting

If you have Windows OS and the miner crashes immediately at startup, then add pause to the second line of the miner. Next, start the miner and read the error. After that, double-check your miner settings. If you have HiveOS or any other OS - go to the miner console and look at the logs of what is happening in the miner. After that, double-check your miner settings.
