Best Crypto Mining Software, Programs for Mining

Why do we need crypto miners (programs for mining?)

Your CPU (processor), GPU (graphics card) and FPGA will not be able to mine without special mining software. Mining software (or as it is also called - miner) helps your mining devices to receive work from the mining pool and send the solution back. There are many developers of mining software, you can install them on different operating systems - Windows, Linux.

Mining software (crypto miner) for Windows

Using Windows mining software is very easy. You download the miner on your PC, unpack the archive, open the bat file with the specific coin you want to mine with notepad and edit the pool address and the address of your wallet there. Above, by clicking on the miner in the table, you can find the download link and the correct sample bat file for mining on our mining pool.

The best crypto miners

Above you see a table with mining software for a particular algorithm. You can check the commission % and choose the best cryptocurrency miner that suits you.

EthereumPOW Mining Software

EthereumPOW is one of the most popular mining coins. What mining software mines it better? We vote for Teamredminer as an AMD miner and Trex for Nvidia GPUs.

How to start mining with mining software

Choose and download a miner that suits the commission and algorithm. After that, extract the archive and go to the folder with the miner. Select the coin you are interested in and go to the .bat file (edit mode). If you have not yet chosen what you want to mine, then we recommend that you first go to our GPU mining calculator, where you can specify your GPU (video card) and get the most profitable coin for the current day. On the miner page you will find ready-made examples of bat files for each coin that you can mine on our pool. You will only have to specify your wallet address and, if desired, the name of the worker (rig).

Common errors in mining

CAN'T FIND NONCE WITH DEVICE CUDA_ERROR_LAUNCH_FAILED - The error says that the crypto miner cannot find the nonce and immediately suggests a solution - to reduce overclocking. Especially newbie miners try to squeeze the maximum out of the video card - they overclock too much on the core or memory. In such overclocking, the video card can even start, but then give errors as indicated below. Remember, it is better to send a stable share to the pool than to race for numbers in the miner.
PHOENIXMINER CONNECTION TO API SERVER FAILED - the mining farm/rig cannot connect to the statistics server. What to do to solve it - enter the net-test command and remember / write down the server with a low ping. Then change it in the Hive web interface (on the worker) and reload your rig. If that doesn't work, run dnscrypt -i && sreboot command.
PHOENIXMINER CUDA ERROR IN CUDAPROGRAM.CU:474 : THE LAUNCH TIMED OUT AND WAS TERMINATED (702) - This error, as in the first case, indicates that the card was overclocked. Restore the GPU to factory settings and gradually increase overclocking until there is no error.
UNABLE TO ENUM CUDA GPUS: INVALID DEVICE ORDINAL - We check the video card drivers and the video card itself for operability (as it is marked in the device manager, if there are any exclamation marks). If everything is ok, then check the riser. It often happens that it is the riser that causes such an error.
UNABLE TO ENUM CUDA GPUS: INSUFFICIENT CUDA DRIVER: 5000Similar to the previous error - we check the video card drivers and the video card itself for operability (as it is marked in the device manager, if there are any exclamation marks).
NBMINER MINING PROGRAM UNEXPECTED EXIT.CODE: -1073740791, REASON: PROCESS CRASHED - The error occurs if your rig/mining farm is built from Nvidia+AMD mix. In this case, split the mining into two .bat files (or a flyer if you're on HiveOS). One is with AMD cards, the other is with Nvidia cards.
NBMINER CUDA ERROR: OUT OF MEMORY (ERR_NO=2) - One of the most common errors on Windows is running out of memory. To solve it - you need to increase the paging file. The swap file should be equal to the sum of GB of all video cards in the rig plus 10% of the stock.
GMINER ERROR ON GPU: OUT OF MEMORY STOPPED MINING ON GPU0 - In this case, it is most likely not the paging file that is to blame, but overclocking on the video card, which goes under number 0. Decrease the overclocking and the error should disappear.
CAN'T START MINER, FAILED TO INITIALIZE DEVIS MAP, CAN'T GET BUSID, CODE -6 - In a particular case, there was a problem in the power supply, it did not hold 3 video cards. After replacing the power supply, the error disappeared. If you are sure that your power supply is enough, try changing the miner.
ERROR 511 DEGREES ON GPU - Error 511 indicates a malfunction of the riser or card power. Check all connections. It is recommended to run the system with one card to troubleshoot. Test and then add one card at a time.
GPU driver error, no temps - Most likely, you got this error while mining on HiveOS. There can be several reasons for its appearance - both software and hardware (for example, a riser). You can try to get by with a little blood and drive the command into HiveOS: hive-replace -y --stable. The system will roll over a new stable version of HiveOS. If the error persists, check the riser.
